Senior Project Engineer - Civil About the Role: Our client is seeking a skilled Senior Project Engineer - Civil to join their dynamic team in Perth. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a major iron ore project, with a focus on delivering high-quality, innovative solutions.
Key Details: Location: Perth Duration: initial 12 month contract Reporting to: Civil Department Manager Responsibilities: Senior Project Engineer - Civil to join a large multidisciplinary project team based in Perth, CBD.
You will work on a variety of study projects for a tier 1 mining client with scopes ranging from earthworks to mine closure.
Contribute to the delivery of study projects with project scopes ranging from earthworks to mine closure. Provide design coordination, stakeholder management, and assist in the management of geotechnical site investigations. Monitor progress and performance against the project plan and when required, take action to resolve problems and minimise risks and delays. Monitor and control cost performance against the plan, and develop and implement project controls and specifications, schedules and cost estimates. Ensure work undertaken complies with the scope and meets quality and operational requirements. Interface with the client and cultivate positive relations to achieve effective communication and collaboration across teams. Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor of Engineering degree in Civil Engineering. 8+ years of professional experience in project engineering and project management. Experienced Senior Civil Project Engineer with demonstrated experience working on civil and mining earthworks projects. Demonstrated experience in working on engineering projects within the mining industry. Previous experience interfacing with clients and strong stakeholder management skills. Proven project management skills and demonstrated ability to deliver work within agreed budget, timeframe and customer requirements. Strong communication skills Experience from EPCM Environment ideal Why Apply?
