As a Senior Project Engineer , you will drive the successful delivery and completion of a multidisciplinary project for a tier 1 mining client, with a scope focused on civil, NPI, and rail works. This role will see you joining the project at the study phase, with potential to follow the project from development to construction and commissioning. What You'll Do Monitor progress and performance against the project plan and when required, take action to resolve problems and minimise risks and delays. Monitor and control cost performance against the plan, and develop and implement project controls and specifications, schedules and cost estimates. Ensure work undertaken complies with the scope and meets quality and operational requirements. Develop project schedules, budgets and forecasts. Interface with the client and cultivate positive relations to achieve effective communication and collaboration across teams. About You You're likely to be an experienced Senior Project Engineer with a demonstrated understanding of the engineering process and previous experience working on civil and NPI mining projects. In addition, you will bring the following skills and attributes:
Bachelor of Engineering degree and 7+ years of experience in project engineering and management. Demonstrated experience in working on engineering projects within the mining industry. Strong background in developing and implementing schedules, cost estimates and coordination. Previous experience interfacing with clients and strong stakeholder management skills. Proven project management skills and demonstrated ability to deliver work within agreed budget, timeframe and customer requirements.
