About the role
We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Project Engineer - Civil and Rehab to join our team at Moorvale Earthmoving Pty Ltd in Coppabella, QLD.
This full-time role will be responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of civil and rehabilitation projects, ensuring they meet strict quality, safety, and budgetary requirements.
What you'll be doing Lead the planning, design, and execution of civil and rehabilitation projects from start to finishManage project timelines, budgets, and resources to deliver projects on-time and on-budgetCollaborate with cross-functional teams, including construction, operations, and procurement, to coordinate project activitiesOversee the work of engineers, technicians, and contractors to ensure compliance with engineering standards and project specificationsIdentify and mitigate potential risks and issues, implementing appropriate corrective actionsPrepare detailed project reports, documentation, and presentations for stakeholdersProvide technical expertise and guidance to junior engineers and project staffWhat we're looking for Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or a related fieldMinimum 5 years' experience as a Senior Project Engineer in the civil/structural engineering industryDemonstrated expertise in the design, planning, and execution of civil and rehabilitation projectsProficient in the use of engineering software, such as AutoCAD, Revit, and project management toolsExcellent problem-solving, decision-making, and critical thinking skillsStrong communication and stakeholder management abilitiesAbility to work collaboratively in a team environmentFamiliarity with relevant industry regulations, standards, and best practicesWhat we offer
