The Project The project is in the Defence sector on sites located in regional Western Australia.
The overall project is more than 2 years in duration, involving significant construction upgrades to airfield asphalt pavements and related infrastructure assets.
Your Opportunity We are looking for an experienced Senior Project Engineer - Asphalt with airfield pavements, asphalt contracting, and civil construction background, to join our multi-disciplinary project team.
The role is an excellent opportunity for a self-driven and ambitious professional to enable and lead the delivery of a major business initiative within a complex project.
Our minimum requirements for this role are: minimum 7 years' experience in a senior project role, specifically involving asphalt contracting, roads, and pavement construction tertiary qualification in engineering proven commitment to promoting safety, quality, and environmental compliance collaborative team attitude with operational leadership experience demonstrated ability in developing strong relationships with subcontractor and supplier partners high level understanding of resourcing, technical, scheduling, and contract management to achieve and exceed safety, quality, time, and cost objectives extensive experience in site-based construction roles, client interface, and project management systems experience with Defence processes and project delivery will be highly regarded able to meet Department of Defence security clearance requirements (DCAC) All Candidates shortlisted for this position will be asked to consent to a national police check and/or financial history check.
