A leading State Government department is looking to engage an experienced

Senior Project Director

to join a highly multidisciplinary team.
The successful Senior Project Director will be responsible for the successful delivery of a number of land and infrastructure projects.

The successful Senior Project Director will be offered a 12 month contract with the view to extend!

Key Responsibilities:

Guiding the future direction of business operations, including service delivery.

Identify and analyse risks, develop associated risk management plans and undertake regular risk reviews for all projects, in accordance with legislation and guidelines.

Working with SLA staff, consultant teams, and internal and external stakeholders, this role will drive projects from inception, through design approval, and to project construction and completion.

Required Experience:

Demonstrated strong experience in project management and high-level advice and support of complex land development projects.

Understanding of public service values covering ethical standards, probity, compliance and a demonstrated self-awareness to ongoing integration of workplace respect, equity, and diversity work practices.

Ability to apply strategic thinking on civil infrastructure projects.

Excellent liaison and communication skills, both orally and in writing with the ability to exercise sound judgement and solve problems.
