Exciting opportunity within a State Government Department!
Initial 12 month contract + the view to extend!Rewarding hourly rates $$$ A leading State Government department is looking to engage an experienced Senior Project Director to join a highly multidisciplinary team.
The successful Senior Project Director will be responsible for the successful delivery of a number of land and infrastructure projects.
The role includes, but is not limited to: Guiding the future direction of business operations, including service delivery.
Identifying and analyzing risks, developing associated risk management plans, and undertaking regular risk reviews for all projects, in accordance with legislation and guidelines.
Working with SLA staff, consultant teams, and internal and external stakeholders to drive projects from inception, through design approval, and to project construction and completion.
The successful Senior Project Director will have experience in the following: Demonstrated strong experience in project management and high-level advice and support of complex land development projects.
Understanding of public service values covering ethical standards, probity, compliance, and a demonstrated self-awareness to ongoing integration of workplace respect, equity, and diversity work practices.
Ability to apply strategic thinking on civil infrastructure projects.
Excellent liaison and communication skills, both orally and in writing, with the ability to exercise sound judgment and solve problems.
