Senior Project Developer

The Senior Manager, Business Development is responsible for leading renewable energy projects, with a primary focus on wind energy projects in Western Australia. They provide management and strategic input across various aspects including commercial, environmental, and planning matters to ensure projects progress smoothly from site identification to construction. Key responsibilities include project management, project development, landholder liaison and negotiations, commercial development, stakeholder relations, and industry policy adherence. Key Result Areas: Efficiently manage the Perth-based Development team and contribute to the national team's efforts. Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget, aligned with business strategy. Successfully manage landholder relationships and complete land tenure processes. Ensure timely delivery of planning and environmental approvals and grid connection agreements. Coordinate internal teams and specialist advisors effectively throughout development phases. Develop and manage relationships with colleagues, partners, and stakeholders. Provide project development expertise and advice to project managers, construction, and operation staff. Resolve project development issues effectively and in a timely manner. Provide timely commercial intelligence identifying significant project activities.
