About the opportunity Reporting to the Development Manager within a growing team, you will be responsible for the planning and development of our non-prescribed portfolio including supporting generator connections/modifications, telecommunications, transmission line modifications and other 3rd party driven network modifications.
You will develop complete, accurate, optimised and consistent proposals in compliance with relevant requirements. You will also provide:
Technical responses to project directors on bids and opportunities, including project scoping activities. Option feasibility studies for project opportunities; and Detailed design coordination for committed class B projects Office based role with occasional travel to projects sites (mainly NSW).
About you Experience in managing a range of project management activities ideally for transmission line and substation projects including coordination of design, environment, regulatory approvals and stakeholder engagement activities Ability to identify key issues and alternatives across the areas of design, environmental assessment, and construction. Experience in the development of project programs and cost estimates for projects. Knowledge of relevant legislation, Australian Standards and Government policy guidelines, which govern safety, engineering design, environmental assessment for the implementation of engineering projects Strong interpersonal skills and oral and written communication skills to provide specialist technical advice Tertiary qualification at degree level in an appropriate engineering discipline Recognition & Reward In return for your hard work, we have numerous benefits and initiatives to support you personally and professionally including but not limited to private health insurance discount, motor vehicle lease plan, career development support, study assistance program and workplace flexibility.
