About the role:
We have a full-time permanent opportunity for a Senior Project Delivery Manager based in Melbourne. The role focuses on overseeing projects from initial planning to final delivery involving a mix of rail infrastructure, roads and ancillary developments. You'll collaborate extensively across the organisation and lead project teams to complete the early works phase, ensuring readiness for operational launch. Your contributions to project development in a collaborative team setting will ensure that delivery objectives are consistently met or surpassed throughout the project lifecycle.
You will: Lead and manage multidisciplinary teams in the development of major infrastructure projects.Foster collaboration across the organisation to ensure successful project outcomes are deliveredDrive project planning, scheduling activities, and managing budgets.Translate business strategies into clear project targets and provide regular updates to senior management.Administer contracts, resolve issues, and collaborate with finance and commercial teams.Cultivate and maintain stakeholder relationships to ensure project alignment and engagement.Implement robust financial and risk management practices.About you: Tertiary degree in Engineering or a related disciplineCertification/qualification in Project ManagementProven expertise in planning, procurement, and execution of diverse infrastructure projects.Showcase extensive expertise in contract administration within construction, engineering, or similar sectors.Display strong leadership capabilities in managing project teams, including effective oversight of subconsultants and contractors.Advanced skills in both qualitative and quantitative risk assessment, with a track record of implementing effective risk controls crucial for project success.Highly effective communication and collaborative planning skills, particularly in complex infrastructure project environments.Ability to fulfil a pivotal role requiring adept interface management and influential skills across various internal and external stakeholders.
