Part-time (80%), fixed term position until 30 June 2025About the position Key responsibilities include maintaining relationships with funders, providing evidence-based advice, representing Rainbow Health Australia (RHA) in project meetings, and preparing relevant reports.
The role involves leading consultations and needs assessments to develop and deliver tailored support for organisations, recruiting eligible organisations into the project, and guiding them in building the capability to meet the needs of LGBTIQ+ service users, volunteers, and staff.
The position also requires collaboration with accreditation providers to ensure smooth project delivery, including reporting, quality management, and fund distribution for subsidised accreditation.
The project manager will offer specialist advice on content and strategy, maintain an in-depth knowledge of research related to LGBTIQ health and inclusive practices, and supervise project staff.
Additionally, they will liaise with both internal and external stakeholders, including participating organisations, peak bodies, and funders, while engaging in research and knowledge translation to enhance RHA's advocacy efforts.
The role also involves creating communications, such as newsletters, project updates, and annual reports.
Skills and Experience To be considered for this position, you will have:
A relevant degree with two years of post-qualification experience with demonstrated extension of theories and principles; or four years of relevant industry experience; or an equivalent alternate combination of relevant knowledge, training and/or experience.Experience in the design and delivery of capability building programs for health and human services.Demonstrated understanding of key issues in LGBTIQ health and wellbeing, and preferably experience working in projects aimed at advancing LGBTIQ inclusion.Project administration and communications experience including coordination and secretariat support, newsletters, social media, project updates and reporting.How to apply Closing date: By 11:55pm on Sunday, 5 January 2025
