Your role will involve everything from engaging with customers and negotiating contracts to cultivating strong, enduring business relationships that ensure exceptional customer satisfaction.You'll also play a pivotal role in identifying and capitalizing on new revenue opportunities within our customer base.
This dynamic position is driven by major client, government, and community development projects.Your Role in ActionApply a rational and well thought out approach to all challenges affecting complex relocation projects.
Challenges are generally complex and rarely have one solution for all situations - you will reach desired outcomes by acting broadly across the challenges faced.Negotiate and manage the appropriate contractual arrangements with customers for complex asset relocation works managing both technical and commercial risk.Responsible for ensuring only appropriate costs are passed on to customers within the framework of executed contracts and the Electricity Networks Access Code.Identify continuous improvement opportunities and develop and implement effective solutions within Line Relocations processes and systems.Contribute ideas with consideration of the evolving market and regulatory environment.Provide guidance to Relocation Sponsors to deliver effective and efficient business outcomes and customer solutions.Meeting allocated legal and regulatory compliance obligations.Ensuring commercial and financial recovery outcomes are achieved including project reconciliation.Review and scrutinise all customer contracts with a view to identifying risks and minimising Western Power's overall contract exposure.What Makes You a Great FitTertiary qualifications in a commercial or business disciplineAdvanced influencing, communication and interpersonal skills coupled with previous Account Management experienceA comprehensive and broad understanding of risk, commercial and compliance managementConsultative selling within a sophisticated customer portfolioDemonstrable experience in contract and financial management / negotiationsAbility to make objective and well thought out decisions / recommendations when dealing with competing demandsAbility to build and maintain excellent internal and external relationships at a senior levelAbility to appropriately challenge the status quoSolid and proven experience in the Customer Service industryBy joining Western Power, you will contribute to powering a cleaner energy future.
