About the role: We are in search of a motivated and personable Senior Project Accounts Administrator to join the Project Accounts team on a 12 month fixed term contract basis.
Due to the nature of this role being process driven and high volume, our team are looking for a detail orientated, energetic candidate with strong initiative.
This position is available immediately and will be in a full-time capacity.
Day to day responsibilities include: Support the Finance Operations Lead with coordination of Project Accounts & Accounts Receivable team to meet agreed deadlines Inbox management for shared inboxes to ensure emails are flagged to the relevant team members, prioritised, and resolved within agreed timeframes Design and produce reports and dashboards to support Project and Finance Teams in the management of projects and cash collections Set up and maintenance of project records in accordance with contract requirements Update and maintain WIP spreadsheet to facilitate Project Teams in accurate forecasting Prepare and issue a high volume of monthly progress claims, including liaising with clients and coordinating with Project Teams to ensure compliance with contract requirements Assist with collections by resolving client requests and queries, and conducting investigations and reconciliations on project account Month-End close processes, ensuring project financials are correct and align with forecasted amounts Support Project Teams in managing and understanding the financial performance of their projects Contribute to the continuous development and improvement of Project Accounts processes The Candidate: Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills (e.g.
proficient with pivot tables, VLOOKUP, IF functions, basic macros, conditional formatting) Strong problem solving and analytical skills with a proven ability to trouble-shoot Highly organised with time management skills and the ability to multi-task Process driven with a high level of attention to detail and accurate data entry skills  Construction/engineering/architecture industry experience or similar is highly desirable Highly effective interpersonal skills and a demonstrated ability to communicate with team members, stakeholders and clients Work effectively to meet deadlines, both independently and as part of a close team excellent verbal and written communication skills Demonstrate professionalism and objectivity in all work matters Maintains discretion and confidentiality What does working at Northrop look like to you?
