Thiess has been awarded a five-year contract to deliver full service mining operations, including mine planning overburden removal, drill and blast, load and haul (Autonomous), water management and rehabilitation as well as construction of the mine infrastructure.About The RoleAre you ready to make a significant impact? In this dynamic role, you'll report to the Finance & Administration Manager and provide essential support to our project, ensuring financial accountability and driving performance targets.Working a 5/2/4/3 roster your duties will include:Ensuring timely completion of end-of-month deliverables and reportsLead engaging monthly cost reviews and dive into key budget variancesPlaying a vital role in cost estimations for our annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processesPromoting financial awareness across the site and ensuring compliance with company policiesProactively identifying financial risks before they ariseEffectively communicating with internal and external stakeholders and key personnelAbout youCPA or CA qualified (or currently in progress)Relevant post-qualification experience, preferably in mining or heavy industryPrevious experience with JDE is a plus, but not essentialProficiency in MS Office, with a strong emphasis on ExcelExcellent time management and organizational skills, with a keen attention to detailAbility to thrive under tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks effectivelyCommitment to promoting safety, culture, and productivity within a team environmentStrong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate and influence effectively across the siteIf you possess these qualifications and are ready to take your career to the next level, we'd love to hear from you!
