Programming & Production (Advertising, Arts & Media) Full time Established in 1972, the South Australian Film Corporation (SAFC) is South Australia's leading screen authority and investment body, supporting the development, growth and promotion of the state's screen production sector. As the most experienced screen agency in Australia, the SAFC focuses on supporting and championing South Australian screen businesses and production across films, TV series, video games and more, offering innovative funding incentives and providing world-class production facilities.
The SAFC seeks to appoint a highly proficient and motivated Administrator to play a pivotal role overseeing the efficient, accurate and timely administration of Production and Development programs and activities. Reporting to the Head of Production and Development, responsibilities include:
Overseeing P&D systems and resources to meet Business Plan objectives and the effective delivery of program milestones; Ensuring timely and accurate reporting of programs and activities, including administering grant funding and rebate programs relating to screen industry development initiatives; Documenting, updating, implementing, and driving improvement in P&D systems and procedures; Overseeing and administering industry Partnership and Stakeholder Agreements; Identifying and overseeing training requirements for P&D staff; Administering travel programs, workshops, events, and external stakeholder meetings; Drafting Board Papers, Government reports, and other documentation; Managing assessment and processing tasks for specific P&D Programs; Managing the evaluation process for SAFC funds and programs within the Production and Development team. Applications are sought from versatile, enthusiastic, and highly organised professionals with demonstrated experience in a comparably diverse and dynamic administrative support role. A positive, calm, and focused approach, meticulous attention to detail, high-level verbal and written communication skills, warmth, diplomacy, and a sense of fun are all essential qualities sought. Digitally savvy, you'll have a curious mindset, be highly proactive, and regularly use your initiative to problem solve. Experience in grants administration and supporting financial/budget reporting will be highly regarded.
