About the role Reporting to the Policy Manager, the Senior Program Officer works closely with the Business Solutions and other IBA teams to deliver program and project outcomes.
Under limited supervision, the Senior Program Officer manages general and technical projects and undertakes specific program-related activities, identifying opportunities to improve customer journey outcomes.
Duties included but not limited to: Manage the delivery, operations and planning for specific products or programs, meeting all KPIs while maintaining a continuous improvement approach.Under limited direction, drive and manage a range of projects, monitoring and controlling progress over the project lifecycle, setting quality and performance standards, and assessing and managing risk.Support the development and implementation of policy initiatives enhancing the quality of the customer experience, business journey and outcomes.Assist with managing policy, process, system and project related change communication within the program.Maintaining a Master Document Register to ensure the correct and up to date document information is available and keep track of all current documents in use.
Provide subject matter expertise and technical advice on the system dependencies relating to customer journey, staff productivity and Business Solutions program deliverables.Monitor systems, processes and customer outcomes.
Advise and support teams in the proper use of applications and resources.Other duties as required.What you'll bring to the team Previous experience in business lending, lending policy or risk management within a financial institution.Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Management or a related field.In-depth knowledge of business lending policies, procedures and best practices.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.Excellent problem-solving abilities and a continuous improvement mindset.Ability to work independently and interact effectively with key stakeholders.Think creatively to solve problems and drive operational excellence.What you will get in return A values-based organisation that drives financial inclusion and economic empowerment with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.15.4% employer contribution to superannuation.Not-for-profit status, with access to Salary Packaging.4 weeks annual leave, with half pay annual leave and purchased leave available.Christmas close down without leave deduction.18 days personal/carers leave.Cultural Capability Awareness and understanding of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander societies and culture.Ability to liaise and communicate sensitively and effectively with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander staff.Want to know more about IBA?
