Working within Manufacturing Skills Queensland (MSQ), you will be responsible for securing, administering, and delivering a range of programs, projects, and contracts.

Administer and deliver programs, projects, and industry capability initiatives to meet identified skills, training and workforce needs of manufacturing businesses in Queensland.Manage procurement processes for a range of products and services to support the delivery of the Annual Training Plan.Develop grant applications, tenders, and bids within required timeframes.Monitor the delivery of MSQ services and achievement of KPIs in relation to contracts and agreements with external bodies, including assessing performance of contractors and suppliers.Conduct research to provide an evidence base for program development, grants, tenders, bids; and assess the effectiveness of projects and programs, identifying areas of success and improvement.Draft progress and annual reports for external and internal stakeholders in relation to project activity and performance, budget tracking, and expenditure.Develop and manage stakeholder relationships acting as a key point of contact for stakeholder enquiries providing information and facilitating proactive communication to strengthen partnerships.Assist in the development of the MSQ Industry Engagement and Communications Framework.Internal collaboration with the team to ensure successful delivery of MSQ's projects and programs, providing assistance with other duties as directed and required.Who we are looking forWe will assess your suitability for this role by looking at what you have done previously - your knowledge, skills and experience, your potential for development, and your personal qualities. Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills with a strong ability to build and maintain professional relationships with staff, industry partners, educational institutions, government agencies, and community organisations.Proactive and highly organised with the ability to multitask, prioritise, meet deadlines, and work effectively in a team environment.Excellent attention to detail to ensure quality of written communication, and delivery of high standards of work in line with best practice.Experience conducting research to inform evidence-based decision making.Practical proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and the ability to quickly learn new software systems such as Asana and MSQ's CRM.Demonstrated experience in contract management and developing successful grant applications, tenders, and bids.Demonstrated experience and success in project, contract, and program management.Experience in the manufacturing industry, VET sector, or government is advantageous.Relevant qualifications are highly desirable.What we doManufacturing Skills Queensland (MSQ) is an independent, not-for-profit industry body established by the Queensland Government.
