We are now excited to invite applications for the role of Programme Director on an initial 6-month engagement, based in either Sydney or Melbourne. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Program Director or Senior Program Manager to showcase your exceptional change management, organisational design, communications and stakeholder engagement skills.
The role: As the Programme Director, you will demonstrate high level programme leadership and vision for processes, people and technology - defining, agreeing and cascading programme vision and translating into delivery objectives for the team.
 
Core responsibilities: Deploy proven methodologies and apply design thinking, principles, and techniques to drive, coordinate and track large scale change programs ensuring seamless program execution.Understand the current state and business ecosystem – structure, people, processes, and technology – and develop an executable roadmap across core function workstreams to drive the program of work, establishing KPIs to track progress.F oster stakeholder engagement and alignment throughout the transition, emphasising human-centric approaches Identify and monitor programme risks, issues and dependencies, developing mitigating actions and seeking to resolveSuccessfully negotiate timelines, scope, and budget across programmes
 A bit about you: Deep knowledge in design thinking and program management to drive effective change management and deliver results, with an ability to deliver work in smaller value drops (versus waterfall approach to program management).Skilled in assessing the current state, defining a roadmap for change, and effectively managing resistance and stakeholder engagement throughout the process.Strong strategic mindset, ability to bring new ideas to the table and encourage creativity and innovation, particularly around agile ways of working.Highly skilled in building relationships, communicating, influencing others, and working effectively in a cross-functional team environment.Strong understanding of proven methodologies, establishing clear project plans, covering scope, timelines, resource allocation and milestones to ensure progress.Strong Dependency Management skillset ie. mapping programme dependencies and identifying owners, and ensuring dependencies are actively managedWorking knowledge of Programme Resource Management – such as provision of resources needed for overall programme and related projects from internal and/or external providersThis opportunity is available to begin within 2-4 weeks and we are seeking an initial 6-month engagement. Some interstate travel may be required, and flexibility to be based in either Sydney or Melbourne (key hub offices). This role will see you leading, designing and orchestrating comprehensive change efforts to deliver the businesses' objectives in line with our One dentsu vision.
