An exciting opportunity exists to join the Curriculum Division in the Vocational Education unit for a fixed term full-time position for 12 months.
Salary: $109,730 - $132,764 (Plus Superannuation of 11.5%)Fixed term for 12 monthsUsual hours of work: Full time (flexible work conditions may be available)Role Purpose The purpose of this role in the VET Unit is to manage programs or projects relating to the delivery and assessment of VET delivered to Secondary Students (VDSS).
It involves liaison with the VET sector, schools, industry, and education sector authorities to support Senior Secondary providers with students undertaking VET.
The successful candidate will lead assessment-related activities and participate in the core functions of the VET unit, including the implementation of school-assessed coursework, examinations, the delivery of professional development, and liaison with a range of stakeholders.
Demonstrated VET sector experience is essential to this role.
About You You are driven, enthusiastic, and set high standards in your work performance.
You have a Certificate IV in TAE with demonstrated VET sector experience in the delivery and assessment of VDSS courses.
Proficiency in course development and coordination is highly valued.
Experience in the delivery of trades and IT certificate courses is highly regarded.
You are a confident presenter with public speaking skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
