With a number of years in the industry this is the opportunity to join a well established Wholesale Fashion brand. This role offers the chance to take your career to the next level. You will be responsible managing all aspects of the production process and its support divisions, from initial enquiry to final delivery to ensure seamless operation of the production process with on-time, high-quality, and exceptionally accurate delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Place purchase and production orders, and track the sampling, shipment, and delivery stages of production.Anticipate, identify, and promptly escalate any production related issues to the Production Manager and Supply Chain Manager.Communicate effectively with suppliers, factories, and freight forwarders to build and maintain relationships.Collaborate cross functionally with design and buying teams.Assist with final quality control checks and support quality assurance processes.Must be able to grow and manage a team including the training of future employees on systems and processes as well as lead sourcing trips to factories in various countries.Have experience in managing and growing a supply base.Must be able to develop and manage production systems and processes.Have an ability to grow relationships with suppliers and manage their performance.Assist in new business development through costing and sourcing. Key Requirements:
Up to 2 years apparel experience in a Production Coordinator/ Assistant role.Technical skills such as advanced Excel, Illustrator or Indesign and MS Office Suite or knowledge of garment construction is highly desirable.Proven experience liaising with Offshore suppliers.Benefits: Excellent opportunity to grow and career progress within the company.Exposure to multi-product categories and collaborations with prestige brands.Opportunity to travel to overseas factories and learn new skills.Competitive salary package and employee discount.
