exciting opportunity for a suitable Senior Product Planning Specialist to join the Product Planning & Development team has become available.The Product Planning & Development (PPD) Division is responsible for planning, coordination, and execution of all product activities in order to ensure new products are optimised to meet the future needs of customers.The Senior Product Planning Specialist is primarily responsible for the development of model line-ups for commercial vehicles for Toyota and Lexus in order to bring to market highly desirable products that maximise TMCA and Dealer profitability and achieve sales and customer satisfaction targets.This role is based in Altona North and is on a 2 year Max term basis.How you'll make an impact Implement and review agreed product planning systems, processes, and procedures consistent with set policies to achieve customer satisfaction, sales, and profitability objectives.Provide advice and assist managers in the development of product planning policies and standards to maximise product desirability, customer satisfaction, sales, and profitability.Develop model line-up and grade specifications for commercial vehicles, as well as product plans to maximise product desirability, customer satisfaction, sales and profitability.Implement market research methods, interprets market research data, and incorporate insights into product planning in order to ensure the model line-up and grade specifications are relevant and optimise both product desirability and profitability.Support the Manager, in project managing the product planning process to launch including post product launch evaluation.Coordinate and facilitates forums to ensure that product plans, their progress, and issues are clearly communicated to all stakeholders.Prepare papers, presentations and briefings and validate marketing and sales materials to ensure accurate product information is available and compliant with corporate and statutory requirements.Update and maintain reporting systems in order to provide the business with accurate and timely information to support planning, budgeting, and forecasting activities.Your product planning experience (ideally in the automotive industry) Understanding of automotive systems and technical terms Understanding of sales and marketing process Experience in market research and cost planning financial analysis Track record in successful project management and prioritisation.Strong stakeholder management and excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport
