This is an exciting opportunity to join a newly formed team within the Product and Experience Group as a Senior Product Manager of the VicRoads Data Solutions portfolio. This is an important and highly visible leadership role that will actively drive the development and accelerated growth of this new internal business venture.

We're searching for a strategic thinker with strong commercial acumen for our new Data Solutions business. You will play a pivotal role in guiding the team through the process of identifying, developing, and launching innovative data-driven products and services to large B2B enterprise customers across sectors such as tollway operators, insurance companies, financial institutions, and major fleet operators.
As the Senior Product Manager for data growth, you will lead a team of product managers to deliver products and initiatives aligned to VicRoads' strategic priorities, from portfolio strategy and product ideation, through development, implementation, maintenance and enhancement, focusing on delivering commercial outcomes and customer satisfaction.
You will collaborate with a diverse range of stakeholders internally and externally to drive both commercial success and cultural change within our organisation.
As we navigate a complex, multi-year transformation, you'll need to thrive in an often ambiguous environment and be equipped with a positive, solution-oriented mindset.
What You'll Do: Lead a team of product managers across a suite of products across the lifecycle, including defining and executing product vision and strategy, validating product features and design, and collecting and prioritising inputs to inform product decisions and direction.
Own the strategic direction for your team's products, while also being involved in day-to-day delivery.
Develop deep understanding of the market and key segments to ensure products truly meet customer needs and market opportunities.
Craft robust business cases backed by data analysis and commercial acumen to drive our product roadmaps.
Collaborate with UX designers and technology teams to create user-centric products that shine in the market.
Develop go-to-market strategies alongside sales and marketing.
Mentor and develop a talented team of Product Managers, fostering a culture of growth and continuous improvement.
What You Bring: 5-10 years of experience managing product portfolios with a proven track record of launching successful products and hitting financial targets.
Exceptional commercial acumen and analytical skills to navigate our competitive landscape.
Experience in organisations undergoing transformational change.
Experience working within technology delivery teams, UX/UI designers, and go-to-market teams to create digital experiences that resonate.
A passion for leading a team and creating a values-driven environment that attracts top talent.
Data product experience of creating and selling data products is preferred.
