This is a full-time role and can be based anywhere in Australia, please note that part time applications will be considered for the right candidate if you are willing to work 3-4 days a week.As the Senior Product Manager Cloud, you'll be accountable for product planning, new product delivery and lifecycle management of products within the Applications, Services & Wholesale Products. You'll function as the 'CEO' of the assigned products; this role is a critical enabler to Vocus' future growth and will draw upon your extensive commercial and technical background to deliver business outcomes. The role will work closely with Enterprise, Government and Wholesale sales and marketing teams to understand customer challenges and identify opportunities for growth with Cloud services. With a focus on the "bigger picture" within the portfolio, you will develop and execute a product strategy to achieve growth while delivering a brilliant customer experience.What you'll be doing day-to-dayDevelop and maintain product plans with intimate knowledge of market opportunities, competitive offerings, technology trends and growth opportunities.Maintain regular contact with customers and sales teams to bring a market-led approach to product development and portfolio management.Design and deliver new product offerings, ensuring strong linkage to market opportunities and customer needs, that the sales team can effectively sell.Define, track and analyse key product metrics to improve product performance or customer experience.Continuously optimise the products within the portfolio to ensure simplicity and maximum yield and carry out timely exits as required.Work closely with key stakeholders from across the business to communicate the product vision, roadmap and value proposition.Provide support to sales teams for major bids/RFPs.What You'll bring to this role5+ years' experience in Product Management roles in Telecommunications, IT or technology where new product development was a key deliverable.Exceptionally strong background in one or more of the following technical domains: Public & Private Cloud Infrastructure and/or Cloud Management Optimization.Strong base knowledge of the end-to-end capability and components required to deliver telecommunications products across the entire value chain.Possess a disciplined 'project management mindset' for all initiatives and the ability to hold others in the organisation accountable for delivery.Proven ability to extract customer insights, develop product plans/roadmaps and drive the delivery of new product initiatives.Significant experience working in an agile/digital environment, delivering iterative results and driving progress in the absence of all detail.Proven ability to work in an ambiguous environment and drive clarity and alignment among key stakeholders.Clear communicator at all levels of the organisation, including senior management audiences.Ability to distil complex customer or technical problems into simple plans, concepts, options and recommendations.Strong financial and commercial skills, including sound knowledge of forecasting, P&L management and corporate finance concepts.Exceptionally strong interpersonal engagement skills and service orientation be naturally "hands on" with an ability to work efficiently and effectively as part of a small team.Proven ability to deal with complex technology, customer or commercial challenges and identify simple options to move the situation forward.What We OfferWorking at Vocus will give you rewarding experiences and the opportunity to do extraordinary work.
