Senior Product Manager, Cards
Looking for a SPM to be part of a team that drives Product CVP, the P&L and Strategy.
Working within the Product squad in the Credit Cards Crew, the purpose is to deliver highly desirable & viable credit card products to the target market.
Primary objective will be to work with the Product Owner and be responsible for the CVP, Strategic Direction and Pricing initiatives. This will involve working with various squads and other internal stakeholders (finance, technical, risk, compliance, marketing, change) and external partners.
Key responsibilities will include:
Turn Strategy into Reality: Work with senior leaders to help bring the strategy to life via product launches or feature changes. Pricing: Review and enhance our pricing structure to balance customer and commercial outcomes. Product Governance: Contribute to all product governance obligations to ensure we are delivering products that best suit our clients' needs, but also mitigate against any risks to our clients or the Group. Delivery: Deliver products and features to market. Risk & Compliance: Ensure that any aspect of the delivery and ongoing operation of the product complies with all risk and regulatory requirements. Market Trends: Continued monitoring of domestic and global trends to spot market opportunities. Skill requirements:
Strong cards product knowledge (preferred). Experience managing banking products is highly regarded. The ability to think analytically and use data and insights to develop strategies, make decisions, and influence senior stakeholders. Strong understanding of credit card products and their economics. End-to-end product experience, including delivery. Experience of working with card partners and schemes (preferred). Understanding of the Credit Card payment solutions. Experience in delivering strong outcomes in an Agile environment. Strong communication skills. Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.
