Role Overview UMENCO is recruiting a driven and discerning Senior Product Developer for a contract role with an Australian heritage brand with over 90 years of history supporting the global dance community. This opportunity will see the successful talent join a company renowned for delivering high-quality and breakthrough innovation.
In this role, the Senior Product Developer will extend their technical expertise across the development of seasonal product ranges for the brand. Responsibilities will include developing products of the highest standard and maintaining a customer perception aligned with outstanding value. This role involves close collaboration with local and international design and production teams to bring new products to market.
The ideal talent will have an exceptional eye for detail, strong technical ability and experience working with stretch fabrics. They will possess strong problem-solving skills, be able to work in a fast-paced environment and thrive in a culture of process improvement. They will consistently ensure that the brand vision and creative direction are at the forefront of their output.
They will have high-level systems proficiencies across the Adobe suite and CAD programs, through which they will be able to create thorough and detailed technical development packs for new seasonal ranges, including the bill of material, specification sheets, and construction guidelines.
They will be accountable to lead the planning and buying functions, maintaining merchandise and allocation reports and working to consistently manage the data integrity of inventory and merchandise across the group.
They will also work closely with buying and production to maintain an up-to-date delivery schedule to ensure the accurate and timely delivery of stock into the store and wholesale partners.
