Ever since our formation we've never been content settling for the norm; we're constantly evolving and challenging the status quo, inspired by the restless few who influence style, shape the future and strive to be 1% better everyday.The RoleThe Senior Product Developer & Designer (Menswear) at LSKD translates our brand's vision, values and creative direction into innovative and compelling designs for high quality products. You will be responsible for driving the development of our product range for your assigned product category. You will work closely with our creative direction, designers, and merchandise team to meet the targets of the BEST/WIN/GROW strategy and 'Go-to-market' calendar. You will mentor and coach the more junior team members of your category to accelerate their ability to conceptualise and bring to life designs in line with LSKD Creative Direction and BEST/WIN/GROW strategies.Key Tasks & ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with Creative Direction to understand LSKD's product vision and community needs.Collaborate with merchandise teams to build your category ranges through creative concepts and design.Provide creative ideas for new products, features, and enhancements that align with the Creative Direction and community insights.Apply market research, trend analysis and product testing insights into the development of our product ranges.Translate conceptual designs into actionable plans, considering materials, functionality, and cost.Oversee the prototyping and testing process, working closely with our partners and internal teams to create samples and prototypes.Conduct product testing and validation to ensure quality, performance, and compliance with standards.Source and manage relationships with suppliers and manufacturing partners.Negotiate pricing, lead times, and production schedules to improve cost-effectiveness and efficiency.Lead product development projects from concept to launch, managing timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.Implement quality assurance processes and standards to maintain product integrity and meet customer expectations.Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify and address quality issues throughout the development lifecycle.Experience in activewear fabrics highly desirable.Demonstrated experience in the field with ideas of how a progressive Production Team should continue to challenge the norm.Extensive experience in garment construction techniques.Demonstrated understanding of product Lifecycle Management Software and CAD tools.Experience within E-Commerce platforms desirable and other software such as 3clicks, Style Arcade, Shopify and Asana.Demonstrates a strong understanding of the LSKD community, brand mission and values.Actively identifies new areas for learning and needs to stay up to date and leading edge in area of expertise.Strong communicator and clearly conveys information and ideas in a focused, appropriate and effective manner.Ability to hit deadlines and work that extra mile to get the job done on time.Passionate about our mission and our brand.Location: Brisbane, QLD / AustraliaJob Type: Full TimeSalary: Generous base salary and epic team member discounts.
