Role Purpose:
Our product design team plays a key role in the Epsilon experience for our customers and internal stakeholders. Working directly with the product teams, internal stakeholders, and customers, the design team helps to shape and lead the product design direction of existing and future product areas.
As a Senior Product Designer, you will have significant experience in a broad range of design practices, including working with design and product leads, collaborative team workshops, interaction design, prototyping, and producing UI wireframes and final UI designs.
You will be a leader in our design team in creating innovative, user-centered solutions across our digital platforms. You will be responsible for helping shape our design strategy and collaborating closely with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver exceptional user experiences. This role combines creative vision and execution together with strategic thinking to drive our product design efforts forward.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Design Leadership:
Provide vision, leadership, and mentorship to a team of UX/UI designers. Foster a culture of creativity, collaboration, and excellence in design.
Strategy Development:
Define and execute the UX/UI design strategy aligned with Product Roadmap. Drive design thinking and innovation.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
Partner with Product Managers, Engineers, and other stakeholders to translate business goals into compelling design solutions. Advocate for user-focused design principles and best practices.
Design Execution:
Oversee the end-to-end design process from concept to implementation. Ensure high-quality deliverables that meet usability standards and elevate user satisfaction.
Team Development:
Provide ongoing feedback, coaching, and opportunities for growth. Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment.
User Research and Testing:
Champion user research initiatives to gain insights into user behaviours, needs, and preferences. Use data-driven insights to inform design decisions and optimise user experiences.
Design Systems:
Establish and maintain design systems and guidelines to ensure consistency across all products and platforms. Drive continuous improvement and refinement of design processes.
Work Experience and Skills:
5+ years of experience in UX/UI design with 1 year in a leadership or management role.
A strong portfolio showcasing innovative and user-centered design solutions. Demonstrated expertise in UX/UI design principles, methodologies, and tools.
Experience in interaction design, UI design concepts, building prototypes, and optimising UI patterns.
Strong communication, collaboration, and decision-making skills.
Ability to think strategically and translate business requirements into compelling design solutions. Experience with design strategy development and execution.
Proficiency in design tools such as Confluence, Optimal Workshop, Dovetail, Miro, Survey tools, Adobe CS suite, Figma, etc. Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is advantageous.
