Remuneration: 123k-135k+ 17% flexible superannuation and leave loading

Why your role matters:
As Senior Producer you will deliver UNSW's events strategy and framework through the design and management of key events and programs. Bringing a creative and innovative approach to each project, your role works within the Strategic Events team (Event Programs stream) to deliver an integrated program of external and internal events which align with the DSIEE overall strategic purpose and most importantly, create stand-out experiences.

The Senior Producer is expected to utilise high-level strategic and critical thinking skills, and this role encompasses talent and stakeholder management, venue and production management, ticketing and marketing coordination, along with new event and program inception. This role focuses on both key internal University events, including initiatives emanating from the Vice-Chancellor's office such as Community Day, as well as UNSW's prestigious and leading thought-leadership platform, the Centre for Ideas, and other strategic event programs.
The Senior Producer will report to the Senior Manager, Event Programs and has upwards ofone direct report.The role also has dotted line management oversight to faculty embedded staff with event responsibilities.

Who you are:An experienced Senior Producer committed to excellence, creativity, and collaboration. Practiced in designing and delivering large events, coordinating cross-functional teams, you'll bring a willingness to work across all event elements, big and small to ensure a best-in-class experience for event attendees.
You'll hold the following skills and experience:
Relevant tertiary qualification with subsequent relevant experience working as a producer in tertiary education, events, media, or the arts, or equivalent competence gained through any combination of education, training and experience.
Demonstrated experience producing events from end to end, managing budgets, production, talent, and ticketing elements, with a proven ability in developing events and programs from scratch, and with creative flair and know-how.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects/deadlines and their operational impacts and risks to ensure they are delivered on time with efficient use of resources.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with both strong written and verbal ability.
Demonstrated ability to build and sustain effective collaborative professional relationships and
partnerships, including those with external senior stakeholders.
Demonstrated understanding of marketing, publicity, communication and customer relationship management for an events program.
Demonstrated understanding of how social media and digital content relate to an events program
in a digital environment.
Ability to manage a team and implement effective workflow and people management strategies
