Are you dedicated to improving education outcomes?Do you champion greater opportunities for artists?Are you passionate about expanding performing arts experiences for underrepresented audiences and participants?About the Role An exciting opportunity has arisen for an innovative Senior Producer to create, scope, develop, and oversee an inspiring, balanced program of creative learning initiatives, presentations, projects, and events at Arts Centre Melbourne.
The annual program will be developed in collaboration with ACM Presents, Resident Companies and in response to organisational strategic initiatives.
Reporting to the Head of Creative Engagement, Programming, you will lead, motivate and inspire a high performing Creative Learning team to deliver on Arts Centre Melbourne's strategic goals and functional tasks, including:
Manage and support the Creative Learning team in the delivery of their roles.Work closely with Head of Creative Engagement and relevant teams to generate funding opportunities.Represent Arts Centre Melbourne in campaigns, education, and community forums.Provide specialist advice and advocacy to help break down barriers and enhance Arts Centre Melbourne's creative learning outcomes, including active participation in cross-team working groups.Full time ongoing position.
Band 5.1, $120,896.00 p.a.
plus superannuation. To be successful in this role, you will require:
Relevant professional or tertiary qualification in performing arts, multimedia, education, business or related discipline and/or equivalent industry experience.Extensive experience leading and developing high performing teams, and management of staff in the achievement of agreed performance outcomes.Significant experience developing and managing project budgets, and in managing large or complex projects.Demonstrated successful delivery of learning-based programs and events for all ages, working with teachers and creative artists in the development of pedagogically sound, artistically enriching learning experiences, with particular focus on arts and creative learning across artforms, in formal education and other contexts.Significant experience in the strategic planning, development and management of high-quality arts and creative learning programs.Advanced experience in managing complex and diverse projects with multiple stakeholders and objectives.Experience managing funding channels and the allocation and expenditure of grants.Advanced industry experience and networks.Enjoy Team Member Benefits As a valued member of our ensemble, you will enjoy:
