We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Procurement Specialist to join our client's team.
In this leadership role, you will drive commercial success and foster a collaborative team culture.
Key Responsibilities: Lead and mentor a team of procurement professionals.
Identify and implement commercially advantageous opportunities.
Develop and articulate category strategies that unlock further value.
Advance best practices in market intelligence and opportunity anticipation.
Cultivate close relationships with key stakeholders and suppliers.
Support business strategies.
What You Will Bring: Proven leadership experience in procurement with a track record of commercial success.
Ability to lead and foster a productive team environment.
Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
Experience in managing large-scale strategies and influencing senior stakeholders.
Excellent relationship-building skills.
Experience with contracts and procurement for major projects and/or operations in relation to rail project and maintenance, well regarded.
Degree in relevant field such as Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering, Business, Commerce, Finance or Law.
