RSHQ are looking for a permanent Senior Procurement Officer to join our team.
You will need to have demonstrated experience in Queensland Government procurement practices and a strong commitment to providing guidance and advice under the governing frameworks.
The Senior Procurement Officer supports RSHQ stakeholders to plan, develop, source, and manage procurement arrangements to deliver value for money and effectively meet business outcomes, underpinned by government policy and procurement frameworks.
In this role, you will contribute to the delivery of the best practice procurement outcomes to enable achievement of organisational goals.
You will be equipped to excel in this role if you have a strong background in procurement and contract management, a solutions-focussed approach, and a positive attitude.
Key Responsibilities:Provide advice, information, and guidance on procurement related matters to staff across the agency to provide governance and support good practice in procurement.Build and maintain partnering relationships and networks with executive and senior management within RSHQ, other government agencies and suppliers to implement initiatives, manage programs of work and support the delivery of RSHQ Strategic Plan.Identify, mitigate and escalate procurement risks to enable the organisation to meet its obligations and maximise business opportunities.A Level 3 Procurement Certification (Diploma of Government Procurement and Contracting) is highly desirable.
