Our client is seeking a Senior Procurement Officer to join their dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead and manage end-to-end procurement processes, primarily relating to information communication and technology (ICT). The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting and supporting various procurement and contract management activities, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, and delivering positive outcomes from contracts.
What you'll do: Lead end-to-end procurement processUndertake sourcing activities for goods and servicesManage multiple concurrent procurement projectsConduct thorough internal demand and external supply market analysisDevelop tender documentation and conduct various tender processesUndertake contract management activities including planning, administration, reporting, and delivery of positive outcomes from contractsEstablish and manage contracts through effective contract managementManage the integrity of procurement and contract management data and reporting systemsResearch and prepare complex briefs, reports, and correspondence on a range of procurement-related projects and issuesWhat you bring: High-level skills in government procurement and contract management policies and practicesProven experience in government procurement processes for goods and services (ICT requirements)Well-developed communication, negotiation, consultation, and collaboration skillsConceptual, analytical, and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently as well as part of a multi-disciplined teamCapability to manage significant volume of work in a dynamic environmentWhat sets this company apart: Our client is committed to fostering an inclusive workplace culture that respects diversity.
