In this role, you'll collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure transparency, risk management, and compliance while delivering high-quality procurement advice.
You will oversee the entire procurement lifecycle, from planning and sourcing to contract negotiation and management, all while adhering to QPS and State Procurement policies.

The core capability requirements for this role are: Manage strategic procurement projects in collaboration with key stakeholders, ensuring that risk, probity and transparency requirements are addressed. Deliver high-quality procurement advice and services covering procurement planning activities, sourcing documentation development, release and evaluation processes, contract negotiation, contract management including sound Category Management functions and administration activities. Monitor and advise on financial, contract management and procurement systems compliance, in accordance with QPS policies and procedures and the State Procurement Policy. Administer contracts in collaboration with Contract Managers in accordance with the principles of the Queensland Government Contract Management Framework. Negotiate and consult with internal and external stakeholders regarding procurement and contract-related issues to identify specific business needs and to facilitate compliance within the required timeframes. Role Requirements: Qualification: Highly desirable Queensland Government Level 3 Procurement Certification or equivalent.
Technical / Operational / Educational experience: Experience in SAP Knowledge of Supply Chain Methodology.
