Fast paced, energetic environment with great career prospectsPerfect for high-performersTerra Schwartz has an immediate opportunity for a number of procurement professionals to join our expanding procurement practice.In this role, you will deliver end-to-end procurement activities including:Delivering end-to-end procurement servicesProviding commercial and procurement expertise, advice, and assistance to your stakeholdersDeveloping go to market documentation (in consultation with your clients)Developing work orders and contractsPerforming contract changesKey duties includeExpert procurement advice and support to internal customersProvide accurate procurement information and sound advice to all levels of managementBuild and maintain an effective working relationship with internal and external stakeholdersHighlight issues and provide advice on procurement options and strategiesProvide support and assistance with procurement planning, analysis, and reportingUndertake end-to-end procurement from source to contract managementUses appropriate purchasing processes that reflect the complexity of the procurement in accordance with departmental policy and ensure value for moneyProvide input into the procurement activity plan for business areas you manageEnsure that procurement policies, procedures and activities comply with the Commonwealth procurement rules and, and other Government legislative requirementsEnsure all procurement related activities undertaken on behalf of any business unit are in accordance with the Department's Procurement Policy and Probity GuidelinesProcurement planning and analysis - Procurement management and reporting - Tracking and monitoringBuild and maintain effective working relationships with stakeholders both internal and externalTo be successful in this role you will have the following skills and competencies;Demonstrated experience working within procurement policies and procedures that align to principles of accountability, scalability, probity, and value for money in the Commonwealth governmentDemonstrated experience in procurement-related roles to deliver savings/benefits across an organisation.Recognises actual and potential barriers and finds effective ways to deal with themSets clearly defined objectives and priorities and operates accordingly, reviewing and adjusting as requiredExcellent stakeholder management skillsUses analytical and conceptual skills to reason through problemsCommitted to delivering high-quality outcomes for clientsEssentialMinimum 3+ years experience Procurement / Strategic SourcingExperience working within Defence.Australian citizen and current security clearance at a minimum Baseline level.About Terra Schwartz100% Australian owned SMETerra Schwartz is a 100% Australian-owned SME headquartered in Canberra.
