Benefits: * 9 day fortnight* Generous superannuation (up to 15.5%)* Additional 2 days of leave per year What you'll do: As a Senior Procurement Coordinator, your role will be pivotal in influencing relationships across all levels of the organisation. You will be responsible for supporting key procurement objectives, ensuring a streamlined procurement function with high levels of compliance. Your expertise will provide valuable guidance and advice throughout the organisation, acting as a support system for the Procurement Manager who will mentor you into taking over their role. Your role will also involve overseeing efficient and cost-effective purchasing while mitigating risk through well-governed procurement systems. Influence relationships with all levels of the organisation to support and drive value-focused outcomes. Support key procurement objectives and ensure a streamlined procurement and contract function. Provide guidance and advice to the organisation. Mitigate risk through well-governed procurement systems. Oversee efficient and cost-effective purchasing. What you bring: The successful candidate for this Senior Procurement Coordinator position will bring significant experience from a complex procurement environment, preferably within government. You will have extensive experience partnering with diverse stakeholders at senior levels, demonstrating your ability to build partnerships, relations, and influence change. Your comprehensive knowledge of statutory and legal requirements in authoring contracts will be crucial in this role, along with your understanding of the tender process. Your well-developed analytical skills will enable you to implement system changes effectively while producing informative reports. Furthermore, your excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills will be essential in preparing procurement and technical documents. Significant experience in a complex procurement environment preferably from a government environment. Extensive experience in partnering with multiple diverse stakeholders at senior levels. Significant knowledge of statutory and legal requirements in authoring contracts and contract administration. Comprehensive knowledge of the tender process including leading evaluation panels in a complex tender. Well-developed analytical skills and the capacity to implement system change and produce informative reports. Well-developed communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
