The IT Business & Vendor Management team within the Chief Information Officer Command of the AFP leads and oversees procurement and contract management activities. We are seeking highly motivated and organised individuals who are able to work effectively under limited direction to deliver innovative procurement solutions and maintain compliance in support of AFP operations.
Responsibilities: Lead and/or provide advice on full procurement lifecycle and contract management related activities.Prepare/review procurement and contract documentation.Deliver efficiencies, cost savings, innovation and improvement within the procurement and contract management process.Prepare and maintain contract management plans.Co-manage select contracts with business area partners.Monitor, analyse and review procurements & contracts.Engage with subject matter experts and stakeholders.Maintain current skills and knowledge in procurement and contract management.Essential Requirements: You must be an Australian Citizen at the time of application.A Negative Vetting 1 (Secret) security clearance or the ability to obtain one.Minimum of 2 years' experience in procurement and contract management.Relevant qualification or extensive experience and knowledge in area of expertise.Sound understanding of the Commonwealth Procurement Rules and Public Governance, Performance and Accountability (PGPA) Act.Desirable Requirements: Demonstrated contract management expertise.Experience planning and leading complex procurements.Proven ability to interpret and apply relevant procurement legislation.Attention to detail in developing and reviewing procurement and contractual documentation.Stakeholder management and engagement skills.Application: Please submit your Resume/CV and Applicant pitch (maximum one page) via our Jobs portal prior to the closing date.
