Our Branch – Development ServicesDevelopment Services play a key role in Brisbane's growth, so our unique, subtropical capital continues to offer quality of life for visitors and residents. Our branch is the destination for applications relating to development, including engineering and plumbing.
We have an amazing team of dedicated, passionate, and service-focused professional people who have our residents, building and construction industry, and communities at the heart of what they do.
The RoleAs Senior Process Improvement Officer, you will manage several projects that have been identified for business improvement, in alignment with the strategic goals of the branch.
Applying your experienced project management and delivery skills to your allocated projects, you will be in the driver's seat to achieve successful improvement outcomes and innovative solutions for the branch. Ensuring 'fit for purpose' governance, strong stakeholder engagement, and execution of project plans with clear scope, benefits, and delivery timeframes will be critical to your success.
Day-to-day your role will be fast-paced and operate within a busy branch. Your refined organisational skills will be paramount to achieving project goals and adhering to delivery timelines. You will work alongside a supportive team who are passionate about the work they do and who provide exceptional services to our internal and external customer network.
To be successful in the role you will have:Demonstrated project management and delivery skills to manage all facets of a project lifecycle and achieve successful outcomes.Demonstrated research and analytical experience including the ability to analyse business operations and systems, develop, plan and implement strategies for improvements to processes or services and provide innovative solutions.Superior writing, interpersonal and communication skills with highly developed skills in consultation, influencing, negotiation, and stakeholder management in a sensitive, political environment.Familiarity with customer research (preparing and delivering qualitative and quantitative research) and/or using customer research platforms/data visualisation tools.The ability to foster and maintain effective working relationships with a range of stakeholders including Project Sponsors, senior managers, and technical specialists.Benefits of working for Council include:Flexible working hours and arrangements.Free gym and wellness centre.Award-winning superannuation fund.Generous leave provisions.Competitive salary.For more information: CLICK HERE Working in Council means delivering excellent customer service to the people of Brisbane.
