Job DescriptionAbout the role: This role leads the Process Improvement team, working closely with leaders and teams to drive business improvement and process optimisation aiming for operational excellence and improved business performance.
You will lead and analyse operational performance data to identify opportunities for enhancing service delivery to our customers.
Additionally, you will lead multidisciplinary project teams to implement these improvements, boosting performance.
Key Responsibilities include: Leading and facilitating improvement projects using business improvement tools, systems and techniques.Overseeing and providing guidance on business intelligence, encompassing performance data, customer demand, and operational capacity modelling.Collaborating with Port Waratah's external coal chain stakeholders, including customers, to progress improvement projects and ensure our service commitments are achieved for our customers.Conducting thorough investigations of operational incidents, including process and engineering issues, to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.Desired Skills and ExperienceSkills and Experience: What we are looking for:
Relevant tertiary qualifications in Engineering.
Industrial, Mechanical, Process or Electrical are preferred disciplines.Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to engage a wide range of stakeholders in continuous improvement and change processes.A high level of analytical, problem-solving and facilitation skills.Training or experience in relevant business and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g.
Lean, Six Sigma, TapRoot etc.
