Fyfe works with a wide range of clients in the Energy & Resources, Infrastructure and Property sectors to provide high quality, commercially pragmatic solutions with a strong focus on client service and delivery.About the roleOur Energy and Resources Division works with major exploration, production and distribution clients to deliver specialist mining, oil and gas projects and services across the country. These include processing facility modifications, energy optimisation, carbon capture and storage, as well as maintenance, integrity and construction related work programs.Due to increased client demand, we are looking for a motivated Process Control Engineer to be responsible for the preparation of high quality designs, documentation and specifications satisfying both organisation and client expectations. We are looking for energetic, team players who can support our group of specialised engineers on a full time basis out of our Adelaide office.Skills, Knowledge & Requirements:Tertiary qualifications in Electrical or Chemical Engineering6+ years of demonstrated technical experiencePreparation and review of engineering design documents (Control Narratives, Functional Design Specifications, Detailed Design Specifications, P&IDs, C&Es, etc.)Experience in programming of control and safety systems (DCS/PLC/SIS/SCADA)Experience in designing and tuning process control schemesExperience with HAZOP/CHAZOP reviewsChartered Engineer holding RPEQ status (highly regarded)Commissioning experience (highly regarded)Functional Safety Certification (well regarded)A strong commitment to client satisfaction and quality workExperience within the Australian Onshore Gas or Mining industries preferredAbility to work independently on multiple projectsAbility to work collaboratively on multidisciplinary projectsThis is an excellent opportunity to progress your career with a growing national engineering consultancy.
