About the Role
Our Energy and Resources Division works with major exploration, production and distribution clients to deliver specialist mining, oil and gas projects and services across the country. These include:
Processing facility modifications
Energy optimisation
Carbon capture and storage
Maintenance, integrity and construction related work programs
Due to increased client demand, we are looking for a motivated Process Control Engineer to be responsible for the preparation of high quality designs, documentation and specifications satisfying both organisation and client expectations. We are looking for energetic, team players who can support our group of specialised engineers on a full time basis out of our Adelaide/Melbourne or Perth offices (flexible based on preferred location of the candidate).
Skills, Knowledge & Requirements:
Tertiary qualifications in Electrical or Chemical Engineering
8+ years of demonstrated technical experience
Preparation and review of engineering design documents (Control Narratives, Functional Design Specifications, Detailed Design Specifications, P&IDs, C&Es, etc.)
Experience in programming of control and safety systems (DCS/PLC/SIS/SCADA)
Knowledge of OPC, Modbus and Ethernet protocols
Experience in designing and tuning process control schemes
Experience with HAZOP/CHAZOP reviews
Chartered Engineer holding RPEQ status (highly regarded)
Commissioning experience (highly regarded)
Functional Safety Certification (well regarded)
A strong commitment to client satisfaction and quality work
Experience within the Australian Onshore Gas or Mining industries preferred
Ability to work independently on multiple projects
Ability to work collaboratively on multidisciplinary projects
