Government - State (Government & Defence) As a Senior Probity Investigator, you will be involved in assessing the suitability of individuals and corporations associated with the Queensland liquor and gaming industries while providing a high level of client service and advising management about operational and policy issues.
You will need to have strong communication, organisation, and written skills, and be focused on delivering outcomes in support of regulatory objectives.
Our ideal candidate will have: Demonstrated ability to critically analyse and interpret financial and legal agreements, arrangements, statements, and reports, as well as legislation and policy, in a complex regulatory environment.Ability to work independently and follow through on assignments with minimal direction, while identifying more effective methods of work operation for management consideration.Strong oral and written communication skills, including experience in making recommendations, preparing briefing notes, and correspondence for the consideration of the Commissioner of Liquor and Gaming, Minister, and Governor-in-Council.Demonstrated ability to evaluate issues that arise in a complex regulatory environment and generate solutions for recommendation to management.Ability to work in a high-performing and collaborative team environment, being highly motivated to deliver outcomes in line with regulatory objectives and being receptive to diverse perspectives.While there are no mandatory qualifications required for this role, a qualification in law or commerce-related disciplines is considered highly desirable.Working knowledge of the conduct of probity investigations is desirable.
