Your expertise will be crucial in addressing cybersecurity and data breach threats, ensuring that privacy practices support QUT's broader business objectives.As a Senior Privacy Specialist, you'll provide specialist advice to senior leaders on a range of university projects, guiding them to achieve compliance with privacy and right to information regulations.

Additionally, the department manages the university's enterprise risk and business continuity, and ensures compliance with national higher education standards..What you need to succeedEducation, training, and/or relevant experience equivalent to completion of a relevant postgraduate qualification, or progress towards postgraduate qualifications, together with extensive relevant experience in the implementation of privacy controls within complex organisational and digital environments..Demonstrated record of success in developing and implementing enterprise-wide privacy management processes and practices that are strategically aligned, promote improved organisational outcomes and are integrated across the organisation.Strong communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to effectively consult, negotiate and influence a diverse group of stakeholders to drive decision making, cross-divisional cooperation and collaboration to achieve high quality organisational outcomes.Demonstrated highly developed written communication skills, with policy development experience and the ability to research and prepare a range of complex documents, presentations and communications.Proven ability to apply analytical skills, effectively prioritise work and operate efficiently, independently and with agility to meet key project objectives and milestones or to meet operational deadlines.Demonstrated experience in developing communication strategies and training plans and in delivering training to a variety of audiences.Life at QUTWe're committed to building a culture that fosters connection between people and purpose.
