Job DescriptionAbout the Role: At CES, we have ambitious targets to keep billions of drink containers out of landfill and transform them into resources that can be used again and again.
Our in-house designed SaaS suite supports this mission.
As Principal Engineer, you will spearhead the design and development of our SaaS solution, focusing on authentication, authorization, and access control mechanisms to ensure robust and compliant systems.
You will work with modern technologies and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, resilient, and innovative solutions that address the challenges of today and tomorrow.

What You'll Do: Front-End Architecture: Define and implement a scalable, modular, and maintainable front-end architecture for a multi-tenant SaaS platform, leveraging Micro Front Ends and React.Greenfield Development: Lead the creation of front-end solutions, including component libraries, design systems, and reusable patterns.Technical Leadership: Drive technical excellence in front-end development, ensuring adherence to best practices, high-quality code, and industry standards.Component Libraries: Build and maintain a scalable, accessible, and reusable component library to streamline development across teams.Collaboration: Work closely with Product, Design, and Back-End Engineering teams to deliver seamless, user-friendly, and high-performance experiences.Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to front-end developers, fostering a culture of learning and continuous improvement.Quality Assurance: Champion automated testing, code reviews, and robust CI/CD pipelines to ensure the delivery of high-quality, bug-free features.Innovation: Stay ahead of emerging technologies and trends, incorporating them into the platform where appropriate.Desired Skills and ExperienceAbout You Micro Front End Expertise: Proven track record in designing and implementing Micro Front Ends for scalable, multi-tenant platforms.Component Library Development: Experience building and maintaining reusable component libraries or design systems (e.g., Storybook, ShadCN, or custom libraries).Performance Optimization: Expertise in front-end performance tuning, including lazy loading, tree shaking, and other optimization techniques.Testing Practices: Strong knowledge of front-end testing frameworks such as Jest and Playwright.Agile Practices: Experience working in Agile environments with CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps principles.Accessibility & Usability: Commitment to buildingaccessible (WCAG-compliant) anduser-centric interfaces.Strategic Thinker: Define and execute comprehensive engineering strategies that deliver best-in-class, scalable solutions.
