with a minimum of 15 years' experience, then we'd like to hear from you!As part of our integrated service delivery, Epic's Brisbane-based Assessment and Approvals team delivers projects across the statutory approval and planning spaces in market sectors including agriculture, government, property, renewables, resources, construction and waste management.
Recognising the significant role social assessments play in the approval and planning space, Epic is growing our social service offering to enhance our existing dynamic skills and to meet client requirements.Working as part of the Assessment and Approvals team, and under the direction of our Team Leaders, you will support the delivery of social baseline assessment, comprehensive impact assessments, impact management plans, and social performance reporting, as well as developing and supporting engagement strategies, preparing communications materials and facilitating community and stakeholder engagement.Core tasks will include conducting primary and secondary research of both qualitative and quantitative sources; report writing and producing high-quality deliverables; effectively communicating with internal and external clients and project stakeholders; preparing draft proposals, tenders and submissions; and identifying market opportunities for growth.
Travel to undertake engagement activities will be required from time to time.WHAT YOU WILL BRINGTo be considered for this position, you will need to possess the following skills/experience:Educational Background:
A relevant tertiary qualification, ideally in Social Science or Social PlanningExperience:
Relevant demonstrated experience, 5+ years of experience for a Senior position or 15+ years of experience for a Principal position, working under applicable Queensland legislation and the
Strong and Sustainable Resource Communities Act 2017Communication Skills:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a passion for communicating scientific information in a meaningful and engaging wayProject Management:
Ability to manage technical and financial performance of social related scopes and projectsClient Relationships:
Excellent client relationship skills with a capability to undertake business development and grow opportunities for EpicTeam Player:
