Our contaminated land advisory team continues to grow, and we are seeking a Senior Principal Environmental Consultant to support current and future projects in the infrastructure, government, water, aviation and defence sectors. A key part of your role will be to engage and collaborate with existing clients, build new client connections and bring new opportunities across a variety of sectors to support our growth and leave a positive, lasting impact on society and the environment. Job Description Our primary focus is to provide solutions for complex projects. Senior Principals at Nation Partners play a key role in: Contributing to the continued growth of Nation Partners by maintaining enduring and genuine relationships, and guiding teams to deliver exceptional outcomes on large and complex projects through a deep understanding of client needs and objectives. Delivering targeted, pragmatic, innovative and effective solutions to help our clients solve their most difficult challenges. Leading the preparation of winning bids for complex, large-scale contaminated land investigation and remediation projects. Leading and delivering contaminated land investigation, remediation and strategic advisory projects, working with technical peers and within supportive, multidisciplinary teams. Analysing and interpreting contamination and environmental data, and guiding project teams in the development of clear and concise technical reports, deliverables and presentations. Leading key activities and initiatives required to meet and exceed our business goals and fostering a culture that delivers greater levels of engagement for staff, clients and partners. Building their own, and others, capabilities to support the growth of a highly successful business. Proactively seeking advice and feedback to support their self-management and make good choices for themselves, the team, the business, society and the planet. Working as a team and being committed to their own development and success. Desired Skills and Experience To succeed in this role, you will: Be focused on exceptional quality and technical capability to lead the team in providing high quality deliverables that meet the needs of our clients. Have a strong industry profile and network, and a desire to lead the team in continuing to build a pipeline of contaminated land consulting projects. Have excellent knowledge and applied experience in contaminated land assessment and management, and related legislation, guidance, tools, and processes. Be able to self-manage and prioritise the delivery of multiple complex projects and project teams simultaneously. Have strong demonstrated experience supporting clients in understanding and meeting their obligations under the Environment Protection Act 2017. Have strong interpersonal and communication skills and be able to confidently present technical information to colleagues, clients and stakeholders. Support clients with strategic and budgetary decisions on contaminated land investigation and remediation projects. Have a relevant Tertiary degree in the fields of environmental engineering or environmental science. Be committed to safety and wellbeing, with significant experience working on active construction sites. Hold a current and valid drivers licence.
