Working on a range of Australian and international assignments in the energy and renewable power sector from small scale generation to utility sized generation and storage. Technology would cover solar PV, battery energy storage, offshore/onshore wind, pumped hydro energy storage, and hydrogen.Relevant workstreams would cover power systems studies, grid connection modelling, renewable energy studies, and front-end engineering design. The candidate would be primarily involved in network modelling (steady state and dynamic) associated with the preparation of Generator Performance Standards (GPS); Releasable User Guides (RUG) and other technical documentation associated with the submission of Connection Agreements and Generator Registrations on behalf of generators who wish to connect to the National Energy Market (NEM). The candidate would need a high degree of flexibility to work on a variety of projects and workstreams.
