Senior Portfolio Analyst - Investment Management (Part Time)

Our client is looking for an experienced Senior Portfolio Analyst to join their well-established boutique investment firm.
This critical role will see you act as a conduit between various stakeholders, overseeing portfolio reporting and investor services, and providing portfolio analytics to support senior leadership with investment decision-making processes.
This position is suited to someone who is looking for a part-time opportunity (3 days per week).
Your key responsibilities include: Manage the day-to-day operations of the funds; Prepare periodic reports, including performance, valuation and regulatory reports for the funds; Liaise with portfolio fund managers concerning fund and underlying asset performance; Maintain and enhance current financial models; Ensure all investment documentation, including investment due diligence files, meet independent audit scrutiny from internal or external stakeholders; Prepare regular and ad hoc Board reports relevant to the financial status and performance of the funds as well as any regulatory or other matters requiring Board attention; Calculating and processing distribution payments, management and performance fee calculations; Liaise with rating agencies regarding the maintenance of the fund's investment rating(s); Ensure compliance, monitoring and reporting of anti-money laundering obligations; Assist in the origination and execution of new investment ideas. The successful candidate will require the following experience and skills but not limited to: Tertiary qualification in Business/Finance or a related field; Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and experience navigating complex financial models; Experience in reporting to internal and external stakeholders; 6+ years experience ideally within funds management or a similar environment; Good understanding of, and exposure to, various investment products; Highly effective communication skills, both written and verbal, and strong interpersonal skills; Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a broad range of functions.
