The Senior Policy Officer roles will work within a flexible and supportive team to develop high quality, proactive policy advice to drive Victoria's circular economy.
We are looking for candidates with strong critical thinking and stakeholder engagement skills who can confidently prepare and present policy advice and initiate and build effective working relationships with stakeholders including other state government agencies, other jurisdictions and industry.
The roles will also be required to lead project management activities to deliver advice and reforms.
Specialist/Technical Expertise/Qualifications
Skills and experience in complex policy analysis and providing high level policy advice is desirable.
Experience undertaking engagement with stakeholders across government, industry and the community on complex policy issues is desirable.
A well-developed understanding of Victorian Government policy processes is desirable.
Tertiary qualification(s) in a relevant field are desirable.
There are two fixed term positions available until 30 September 2025.
The work location for this position is 8 Nicholson Street, East Melbourne with hybrid work arrangements available.
