Senior Policy Officer

Policy, Planning & Regulation, Government - State (Government & Defence) In this role you will work collaboratively as part of a team and engage with a range of stakeholders, including other government agencies.As Senior Policy Officer you will:Develop and review whole-of-government policies and guidelines and recommend tools and systems to improve recordkeeping maturity, including recordkeeping in a digital environment.Build effective relationships with client agencies and provide assistance and advice to improve management of public records across government.Represent QSA and contribute to a wide range of strategic information management projects, including preparing and delivering presentations to stakeholders.Coordinate, collaborate and consult with client agencies on new whole-of-government strategies and solutions.Research, prepare, review and analyse information, including for discussion papers, reports and briefing notes, covering current and emerging issues associated with public records and information management.Contribute to QSA's strategic work objectives and engage with other managers and staff.Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation, promote an environment of strong customer service, collaboration and teamwork to achieve quality outcomes within agreed performance measures.Undertake any other duties as directed by the Manager and Director.For further details about what the role entails and how you will be assessed, we encourage you to read the attached role description and talk to the contact officer.Applications to remain current for 12 months.Job Ad Reference: QLD/601669/24Closing Date: Friday, 22 November 2024
