In this role you will:
Play a key role in influencing the design of the VEU program and turning legislation into tangible impactful program design and implementation in the government's key climate change action program.Provide authoritative advice to the Victorian Energy Upgrades (VEU) division and senior decision makers.Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and engage with teams within the VEU division, the Department of Energy, Environment and Climate Action (DEECA), and other regulatory and industry bodies in delivery of work outcomes.The position is responsible for:
Providing authoritative advice to the VEU Division, senior executives, and Commissioners including advice on the implementation of the program's current legislative framework and the development of policy and legislative instruments.Undertaking research and analysis, including review and input to legislative and non-legislative instruments to address emerging issues, risks, and trends impacting the achievement of program objectives.Supporting the effective implementation of legislation by developing clear communication, guidance, and supporting materials for internal and external stakeholders.Actively contributing to a positive organisational culture and the high-performing culture of the broader division and the commission.This is a fixed term position for two years.
