As a Senior Policy Officer, you will work in partnership with hazard leads across the department to identify opportunities for continuous improvement, craft recommended policy options, and design and deliver strategic projects and programs to uplift department capability and capacity. To be successful in the role, you will thrive working in a dynamic fast-paced environment and be comfortable working across quickly changing priorities.Specialist/Technical Expertise/QualificationsTertiary qualification(s) in public policy, social science, emergency management, environmental management, or similar is desirable.Demonstrated understanding of Victoria's emergency management arrangements will be highly regarded.This is an ongoing position.
